Hi there! I’m Andrea. It’s nice to meet you.

My journey in glass started nonchalantly with a weekend teaser class where I learned to make small marbles. I thought it was fun, but the thought of investing in the hobby seemed too daunting.

10 years later, I got the glass itch again and took a class at The Los Angeles Makery* with artist Cathi Milligan**. Then it became 2 classes. 3 classes. And then I was renting studio time and spending my weekends gallivanting around DTLA playing with glass and finding the best and cheapest sushi Little Tokyo had to offer. Before I knew it, that itch had escalated into a full-blown rash that no amount of Cortizone-10 could alleviate. I have no regrets.

Today I have a small studio space at The Makery, where I make weird little creatures and hang with a bunch of really badass artists. You should come by and check it out sometime.

Besides glass, I dabble in illustration***, painting, and fitness. It’s a pretty good time ⊂(◉‿◉)つ
